Our Stoke-on-Trent training centre is located just moments away from the city centre (Hanley), and a short drive from major A50 and A500 road links. It’s easily accessible from anywhere in the city, as well as the Staffordshire Moorlands, Stafford Borough and South Cheshire.

    Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (Level 3)

    Two days
    This two day course is aimed at managers, supervisors or those with leadership responsibility. Learners will cover the full syllabus of the mental health awareness and first aid courses, and will gain a deep understanding of a wider range of mental health conditions and the professional treatments available. They will also understand the basics of introducing a positive mental health culture within a workplace or setting, and know how to provide support for things such as stress.

    The nationally accredited RQF level 3 qualification fully complies with the 2017 EYFS Statutory Framework. The course qualification is suitable for individuals aged 16 and above who work with, or care for, babies and children. These roles include teachers, nursery/pre-school staff, child-minders, nannies and au pairs. The course is divided into two units, allowing learners to cover both action for emergency situations, and the necessary treatment various other injuries or chronic conditions.

    Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

    The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification is ideal for those working in lower hazard environments (e.g. shops, offices), with smaller teams (i.e. less than 50 people), where HSE guidelines specify staff should be EFAW qualified or where they are supporting colleagues who hold a full First Aid at Work qualification.
